Vivocity Countdown Party 2008!!

lets start frm when i arrived at Vivocity at 5pm..
Jihan and I then went up to the sky park and saw that there wasnt much people in the queue so we went to have a drink before settling down in the queue..
chatted while waiting then we saw this reporter and a camereman..
so i flashed my widest smile at the reporter and guess wad?
she approached me!!

firstly she asked me since what time i have been waiting..
how i was spending my time while queueing up and waiting..
which celebrity i was looking forward to seeing..
im sure you guys should know what i answered to all of her questions..
then she wished me happy new year before interviewing others..

then i saw Farah, my distant cousin.. we have never met in real life before and surprisingly we both recognised each other.. okk well, Farah hooked me up with 4 moshpit tickets coz she was frens with By Definition uhh.. thanx to her loads..

then Huda decided to meet up with us so she flew from Hougang to Vivo in a flash..
well then i gave away 1 moshpit and 4 seating tickets to some stranger..

when we got to the moshpit, i stood right in front of the stage and promised myself i would not budge till the countdown is over..

then the pre-concert started.. it was alright.. nothing fantastic.. all were 'Live The Dream' finalists who performed.. then while Revalina was singing, Joakim, Nat, Jade, Gurmit and Michelle were at the back of the moshpit doing some shooting.. people all crowded around them.. i badly wanted to go and get a pic but i was afraid if i left, i wouldnt get to stand at the front row anymore..

okk, then the live telecast started so Gurmit was telling us to really have fun; clapping, jumping and dancing.. especially the people at the moshpit..

and yeahh, we pretty much didnt stop clapping and dancing.. ohh man it was soo havoc!! the performances were great.. i truly enjoyed Joakim, Jade and Nat's performance.. And the most rocking performance for me has gotta be By Definition.. Taufik was all that too.. Taufik and Ash frm By Def pointed and winked at Jihan and zomg!! she melted.. haha.. well Joakim was really sporty and high spirited as well..
He saluted and waved at me a couple of times.. and also, he shook my hand too!! soo soo high.. hahas..

and i must say this year's countdown was the bleh coz not only did we had a smashing good time but i counted down with real special people as well.. and i lyked that.. thank you guys very much..

the concert went on till 12:30am and ended with its upbeat finale performance..
Jihan, Huda and I were real thirsty and tired from all that dancing and screaming our lungs out!! so we headed to food republic for a drink.. that's when i found out that my hp battery was flat!! bummer.. coz i wanted to get a pic with Joakim.. and Joakim was no where to be found as well.. so, we all headed home not wanting to miss the last train home..
