on monday i did spring cleaning..
clearing out my books and notes frm the cupboard..
loads of junk and nonsense..
came across some wonderful and precious memories which i will cherish always..
found some stuff which i thought was long gone..
aand my cupboard looks betta noww..
ive also made room for new books to come in.. =))

then it was hardcore E&A training on tues..
but it was gd larr..
this guy frm Korea came down to spore..
he is an international lifeguard u noee.. dun play2..
well, rmbr the audit frm the other week..?
seems that he took a video..
he showed the video to us as to what the mistakes they did..
i wasnt working that week so i wasnt in the video..
errr, we learnt new stuff.. how 2 improve our lifeguarding..
then ther was a test as well..

but the best part was him treating ALL of the lifeguards
to dinner at Sakura..
honestly, i didnt enjoy the food..
it was buffet style.. sushi and other fried stuff..
wasnt really very appetising..
people was also becoming really nicee to me..

okk, i just hav to mock this Korean guy diction..
my malay supervisor's name is Rashidah..
but dunno how he pronunce till it sounded lyk Lasidah..
hahas, now evryone is calling her Lasidah, even in the walkie conversation..

wednesday was work but they pulled us out of work halfway
for training from this Korean guy..
i was supposed to end at 8pm but then i buih them..
so i ended at 6pm..
then i actually stayed and played till close..
i took the slide-up u noee.. three times..
super scary and i screamed my lungs, heart and intestines out..
the person at the bottom told me,
"how do u think i felt when i took the test ride earlier in the day?"
hahahas..
then i actually lepakk with the full-timers ther after their work..
they are quite a handful u noee..
soo childish and funny as well..

todayy is the last day the Korean guy will be with us..
training + work todayy..
i got super long break frm malay supervisor..
ppl are starting to get jealous and say that Lasidah is biased..
anw, todayy the part-timers kena audit siaa..

i was at tsunami pool then got this unconscious person..
i went down 2 rescue him..
after blowing the whistle for help..
only then did i realise it was a test..
behind me was my 3 supervisors, head lifeguard, Korean guy with a video camera, another lifeguard with a "LIFEGUARD TRAINING IN PROGRESS" signboard, and two other lifeguards rushing towards me to help..
i did alright.. i just forgotten to put the AED..
Korean guy said it was alright coz in real situation, evryone will be ther to prompt and remind u and we did a great job!!
soo relieving.. and wad a surprise as well..

okk thenn. gonna sleep.. tmr goin mosque to be a religious person.. =)

my family and i went to the restaurant, Carousel at Royal Plaza on Scotts for high tea last sunday to celebrate my grandmother and uncle's birthday..

it was nicee to see evryone again.. the food was also gd.. yay!! ther was choc fondue as well.. here's just a short video clip of the celebration.. after seeing the video, i realised that my mum, who was taking the video was sooo kecoh..

okk, i totally forgot to blogg about this.. all the interesting stuff happens when im at waterworks bottom.. well there was this 2 middle aged guy who just landed from the slide then they were struggling, so i handed them the rescue tube.. but they pushed it away and grabbed me instead.. they literally grabbed onto me for dear's life.. then i told them to stand up.. and they were sort of paiseh larr coz the landing pool was only a 1 metre deep..

ther is another incident, also at waterworks bottom.. u cant wear tshirts while going down the slide so this lady took off her shirt and went down the slide.. then when she came down the slide.. i was lyk omg!! she was wearing her bra.. and it was wet so i saw her boobies.. and i was estatic just for a bit larr.. she then wore her shirt in the landing pool.. then best part was her husband came down the slide after her... hahahahas.. sometyms, i think ppl can do the craziest stuff alive..

anw, met up with my makkalz on monday.. hahas.. we went to j8.. vanitha, darchana, sarania and I.. whyy noww.. didnt think i would see Kai, Alvin, Xuan Min, Shirley and even Brendan.. after buihing them.. lols.. we just chill2 and took pics.. thats all.. *pics to be uploaded soon*

tues was thaipusam.. just went round with my dad to see the kavadis.. whyy noww didnt expect to see Priya.. lols.. saw my cousin too.. she was lyk, see u in two weeks.. haha, her wedding.. well, its the same stuff evry year.. so wasnt really excited bout the kavadis.. but can say it was quite havoc also larrr.. here's just a couple of short video clip..

aaand tmr is the day which decides my fate and destiny.. ive got my hair cut, uniform ironed, and all set to go tmr.. results is less than 24hours away and im pretty excited, nervous and anxious about it..

*Wednesday*

the training was nonsense..
the supervisors just gave us different scenarios of guests in need of help..
and they just wanna see how we react and deal with such situations..
also, its a just a recap of our rescue techniques..
but still, we were paid by the hour.. =)
so once it ended, my Chinese sup ask me whether i can work today..
so i said alright..
then he ask me to come back at 3pm siaa considering the time then was 12pm..
waa, soo buih!!
but my Malay sup asked me to go home coz she was worried what i was supposed to do for three hours.. simply the Best!!

okk then, so i met up with Priya at Orchard..
ther's this new exit larr at Orchard Mrt..
they closed the main exit..
then we were greeted by this dancing traffic police guy..

i managed to get a video..

anw, Priya and I went to visit Teresa..
lyk finally.. so hopefully we made her day..
took a shot b4 leaving to see Vivian..

Hopefully we made Vivian's day as well
as she said business was slow after christmas ended..

grabbed some bites at Taka before heading home..

*Thursday*

i went to Kallang River to help out in this event..
i didnt noe wad it was till i got ther..
it was actually a dragon-boating competiton organised for hp staff..
so i was the lifeguard there.. the only one actually..
well, the organiser wasnt too hard on me..
he just asked me to sit on the safety boat and enjoy the scenery..
only jump in and save someone if they fall out of their boat..
thankfully, everyone played by the rules and no one got hurt..
waa, but i neva even get a bottle of water siaa..

anw, left that place and met mum at Bedok..
went to visit my grandaunty..
but when we reached at the house,
ther were 3 grandaunties ther..
sort of lyk a family reunion..
they were sitting lyk bemuda triangle..
"i see u, u see her, she see me"
that was how my grandaunt put it..

we were ther for about an 2 hours then we left..
its so sad larr to see all this old old people doing nothing but 'berzikir' 24/7..
wonder if ill be lyk that when im old..
okok, i dun step religious alright?

went mosque with Nizam for friday prayers..
not trying to stepp religious but i really am alrights?

then met Priya later in the day and were off to NP..
waa, the campus so big siaa.. we literally lost u noee..
we caught a glimpse of the S-Pop thing goin on..
Nat Tan was singing!! =))
we thought can meet tkb.com and gang but as usual, they buih-ed us..
Priya enquired bout her accountings thingy
while i asked bout my nursing and stuff..
the nursing ther use PDA siaa..
but uniform not that nicee uhh..
but i will keep my options open and consider NP..

although i brought my swimming barang2 along..
just didnt feel lyk goin..
since i didnt get my tickets to Sinaran Hati for ALIFF AZIZ..
sooo disappointing.. =(
so Priya and I went to Esplanade..
chill2, lepakk, picturess..
then headed to home sweet home..

okk, so my ustazah came todayy and we read the Al-Quran..
usual stuff.. then she left..

so was lepakking at home todayy..
chilling and surfing and stuff lyk that..

so last thurs Jihan and i went to NYP open house..
it was alright.. i think i blended in with the students ther uhh..
i could really see myself studying ther.. zomg! cant wait 2 start my poly life..
i even noe wad cca to choose already larr..

anw, Sha skipped her lecture to meet me then she went back..
so Ericko brought me and Jihan around the campus..
ther was actually this push up thingy going on as well..
they were setting a singapore record for the most push-ups done or smtg lyk that..
thenn, you'll never guess who we saw..
surprise2, it was Yi Li, Pei Wen, Jerinna and Zhen He!!
hahahs, i wonder how these people will be in poly larr.. haha..

okk, so finally Sha ended her lecture..
we had lunch together..
hanged around for a lil while before heading to SP..

actually none of the courses interest me ther..
it was all very sophisticated and perhaps im just not cut out for it..
the goody bag was alright.. and u noee wad?
ther was freeeee ice-cream..
not some cheap-skate half a scoop ice cream but a full cone siaa..

so walked around the campus..
it was raining lyk nobody's business..
we would hav blended in with the students if it were not for the goody bag we were carrying..
then punam came to meet us..
waaa, she brought her whole nepal gang siaa..
she was also bitchy as usual..
we were ther for a short while then we all left..
her nepal gang were all soo funny just lyk her..
well, they headed to mustafa..
Jihan and i went to esplanade to chill2..
we had a very nicee chat at the-ever-so-cosy mrs fields..
took pics as well..
then we went our separate ways..

i met mum and grandma's house..
hahas, i saw arash studying so hard for his PSLE..
lucks to him..

work has been alright..
ppl are getting friendlier..
anyway, my malay supervisor shouted at me yesterday
coz i did not put up the barricades..
thenn she apologised to me after work coz she said
"some staff think that i and her 'kam cheng ho' so she wanted them to think otherwise"
aand whenever she was on duty, she would ask me to put back the walkie-talkies
coz the charger for the walkies is beside her desk in the office..
then she would show me videos and crap around with me and stuff lyk that..
she's the BEST!! i wish she was on duty evry single dayy..

okk thenn, dun forget to catch Aliff Aziz on Sinaran Hati at suria this friday at 8:30pm..
dammit, im in a dilemma.. ALIFF AZIZ or swimming??
cmon, ill choose ALIFF AZIZ anyday, anytym...
aand im looking forward to NP's open house soon as well..

alrights, ive received details about my job for the Aliff Aziz thingy..

im really excited.. i cant wait for his next performance..

okk, so i was chatting with my malay supervisor yesterday night and she told me that she fired two lifeguards yesterday..

the reason was because they did not do swim checks..

so, being very nice, she told me to do swim checks and test rides the next time i was working morning shift..

actually right, ive never done swim checks before and i will be the one that goes to other checkpoints and do test rides for them instead.. especially ular-lah!! hahaha..

aand till now, ive not been caught..

so next time, ill do my swim check first and only if there is time then i will sneakily go for other test rides.. =)

anyway, i asked my supervisor who she fired.. and wahaha..

thank goodness its the really stepp lifeguards larr..

she gave me lotsa advice too..

gosh, she's really nicee to me.. appreciate it lots.. thanx kakak..

anyway, ive gotta wake up real early tomorrow coz im starting my Al-Quran (muslim bible) reading already..

i really should, to "wash away" all my sins.. only then, will i become a changed person..

well, i must stress on how i miss my 5N and other stuff..

merepeking and nonsenseing around..

i hope that nothing will change between us in future..

wah lao ehh.. i was supposed to get my pay 2 days ago but due to some unforseen circumstances, ill get it only next week..

anyway, i did a little test on my supervisors..
i came late on the different days which my supervisors were on duty..
well, the chinese supervisor gave me a verbal warning..
the indian supervisor only asked me to hurry up..
and my malay supervisor still can ask me to take a walk around the park to see if there were lotsa people..
and i only sort of did my job 2 hours before closing siaa..

i love my malay supervisor..
now u noe why they call her shorty..

anyway, im looking forward to lots of stuff this year..
gosh!! looks lyk this will be a pretty exciting year..
cant wait..

soo, i finally met up with Mira the other day..
she's still the same.. hahahs..
nicee seeing her..

anyway, i think ive lots of tym to kill till O's results are out..
hav i mentioned it's soo exciting? cant wait..

aaand ill be going for the poly open houses next week..

Vivocity Countdown Party 2008!!

lets start frm when i arrived at Vivocity at 5pm..
Jihan and I then went up to the sky park and saw that there wasnt much people in the queue so we went to have a drink before settling down in the queue..
chatted while waiting then we saw this reporter and a camereman..
so i flashed my widest smile at the reporter and guess wad?
she approached me!!

firstly she asked me since what time i have been waiting..
how i was spending my time while queueing up and waiting..
which celebrity i was looking forward to seeing..
im sure you guys should know what i answered to all of her questions..
then she wished me happy new year before interviewing others..

then i saw Farah, my distant cousin.. we have never met in real life before and surprisingly we both recognised each other.. okk well, Farah hooked me up with 4 moshpit tickets coz she was frens with By Definition uhh.. thanx to her loads..

then Huda decided to meet up with us so she flew from Hougang to Vivo in a flash..
well then i gave away 1 moshpit and 4 seating tickets to some stranger..

when we got to the moshpit, i stood right in front of the stage and promised myself i would not budge till the countdown is over..

then the pre-concert started.. it was alright.. nothing fantastic.. all were 'Live The Dream' finalists who performed.. then while Revalina was singing, Joakim, Nat, Jade, Gurmit and Michelle were at the back of the moshpit doing some shooting.. people all crowded around them.. i badly wanted to go and get a pic but i was afraid if i left, i wouldnt get to stand at the front row anymore..

okk, then the live telecast started so Gurmit was telling us to really have fun; clapping, jumping and dancing.. especially the people at the moshpit..

and yeahh, we pretty much didnt stop clapping and dancing.. ohh man it was soo havoc!! the performances were great.. i truly enjoyed Joakim, Jade and Nat's performance.. And the most rocking performance for me has gotta be By Definition.. Taufik was all that too.. Taufik and Ash frm By Def pointed and winked at Jihan and zomg!! she melted.. haha.. well Joakim was really sporty and high spirited as well..
He saluted and waved at me a couple of times.. and also, he shook my hand too!! soo soo high.. hahas..

and i must say this year's countdown was the bleh coz not only did we had a smashing good time but i counted down with real special people as well.. and i lyked that.. thank you guys very much..

the concert went on till 12:30am and ended with its upbeat finale performance..
Jihan, Huda and I were real thirsty and tired from all that dancing and screaming our lungs out!! so we headed to food republic for a drink.. that's when i found out that my hp battery was flat!! bummer.. coz i wanted to get a pic with Joakim.. and Joakim was no where to be found as well.. so, we all headed home not wanting to miss the last train home..
