HAPPY 42nd BIRTHDAY, SINGAPORE!!!
Friday, August 10, 2007woke up fresh and early today and went off to East Coast with my cuzzies..
i dunno wassup with us but we have been going to East Coast on National Day for the past three years.. ok, so we biked for a couple of hours but we stopped lots of times for ice-kacang, ice-cream, drink and pictures!
When we were on our way back to return our bikes, Sha stopped and suggested we helped this lady who fell down.. I immediately grabbed my wallet for my standard first aid cert..
The lady was actually very badly hurt.. She had a deep gash at her chin which bled profusely, you could even see her flesh.. And ther was lots of abrasions.. When Sha and I introduced ourselves, ther was already someone helping by providing kitchen roll and ice.. She fell of her bicycle, i think.. so poor thing.. Her boyfren was by her side, asking how she was feeling..
Anyway, Sha started talking about blood vessels and all.. We applied pressure at her gash to stop the bleeding.. But, one tissue after another was just covered with blood.. Sha then helped her clean the stains and abrasions while her boyfren returned their bicycles.. We too had to leave to return our bikes, so we asked her to take care while her boyfren was on his way on a cab to take her to a clinic.. i think, she might need stitches.. poor gal, she cried lots..
so, after returning the bikes, we headed to Sha's house.. Mami Ramlah's nasi minyak bukan main sedapp lagi.. we freshened up there and went off to Grandma's house for the (kenduri) prayers.. saw the jet planes and fireworks too..

i then went to Sha's house for a sleepover.. Arash joined us too.. the ride home was soo funny with Kala Pau and Mami Ramlah cracking up jokes and imitating ppl.. lmao.. waaa, i laughed so hard.. today was so great.. Thanx Sha and Arash for the wonderful day.. Love ya lots!!!
