Wednesday, October 25, 2006The day that I have been waiting all Ramadhan is finally here... 1st Syawal.. The best day in the malay calendar...
I didnt go for the prayers in the morning today... slept like a rock... well, it was definitely a good day for me... enjoyed it to the fullest, without anyone stopping or controlling me...
Sha went to straighten her hair today.. All the nani's took notice bout her hair, ttz the surprising part... Then, me and my brown lens.. hehe...
It's now like a routine, the visiting thing.. We do this every year and still don't get sick of it.. So, first house is always my beloved grandmother... Love her lots!!
Then we went to Mami Asmah's house, where Ms Shannibar was there and she said hi and all... So the journey continues as we went visiting to all my beloved nani's house.. eating all the kueh and tarts.. simply irresistable..
And how can there not be any funny incidents? That would be meaningless.. Sha, remember 'correctcorrectcorrectcorrect'? hahaha.. and how i almost masuk the wrong car.. But the best all time joke is still the one ur dad went to ketuk the door and someone else open it and your dad still can say, "awak salah rumah, eh?" (translated- are you in the wrong house?)
Seeing all of my nani's was great.. And im glad they're well and happy too.. But this year its more of the kueh and the food for me rather than the green packets... Love kueh tarts... Well, to top it all of, SELAMAT HARI RAYA AIDILFITRI...
